I couldn't quite tell from the website translations, but it looks like they are setting up for a tarmac rally instead of dirt/gravel, which is still awesome, but kinda makes me a little sad... That would be so awesome to come full circle and be back to classic RWD rallying. Really curious about suspension set-ups, wheel+tire combos they're planning on going with. Still, looking forward to seeing more

Ichi - I'm a big stratos fan....but when it comes rallying the 4WD cars will always beat the RWD cars :) I was so surprised to learn of Toyota entering the 86 into rallying.... I assume that its racing in a RWD rally class as otherwise it wont be fair for it to race with the 4WD guys.

yeah i call it quitting :D but because of them we have modern anti lag systems, they were the first :D

Isn't it kind of ironic that Toyota is rally racing the GT86, and Subaru is running the BRZ in Super GT?

It'll never happen unless it's a hybrid, but, yeah I'd love to see that!
