The smoked lenses are similar to those in the tail lights. They are not as dark as Valenti tail lights or Winjet tail lights. Inside they are chrome.

With the retail pricing set at around $1,000 in the product showcase @ SEMA (just like the Spyder tails), I expect the price point to be at around $500. Since no one has released a headlight though, it wouldn't be out of the question to see a price between $500-$1000. Sorry, but everything is purely speculation when it comes to pricing.

HID

These lights will be using a projector with a mechanical flap just like the TRS retrofit projectors. They are designed for halogen lights. We'll test to see if they can be retrofitted with a true HID projector.

The picture below shows another set of Spyder headlights with a halogen projector which had a plug and play HID system installed. I've provided this picture just for your reference.

Wiring

Don't be surprised if the actual light bulb is an H7 with a harness modified to H11 / 9005. It's common for all of this to be plug and play. HOWEVER, when things are added such as DRL's and turns, it is quite possible that you will have to splice into lines or setup separate wiring for those.

Customization

We've done a lot of customization with Spyder lights in general and plan to play with these. If they do take out the halo, I'll be adding back a ColorSHIFT RGB halo.
