Zeal Motorworks front lip/splitter
Anyone have one of these? Found this on eBay looking around for front lips. Looks clean and seems reasonably priced. I'm digging it, just curious if anyone out has experience with it, thanks.

Lol looks like they too the apr splitter, take off the support rods and take off the entire under the engine bay part so it looses all functionality. Looks wise, I like it. I love my apr splitter and this looks like a cheaper version I could DD with and not worry about cracking the CF if it touches anything. Plus 200$ is better then 500$ if I brake it.
I say go for it. That design should fit just fine. |
I actually met the guy that makes this at Formula Drift Tech Day 2014. It looks pretty sturdy. He says there'll be a full lip kit on the way. Now if only I can save some money...

That's cool. Still haven't pulled the trigger. I don't have plans to lower because the roads around here suck. Not sure how it would look on stock suspension. Guess I'll wait to see what the full kit looks like.

It's a knock off of the actual zele splitter looks good though.

I ordered it to replace my ht auto lip since it was too low, it's arriving this week.

They include hardware (essentially spacers) to angle it flat in relation to the ground, but because of how far it sticks out, it makes getting in and out of driveways very difficult. So, I removed the washers and bolted it directly to the front bumper; the angle doesn't look weird and the ground clearance is largely unaffected. IMO I strongly prefer it over my old HT auto lip. Looks great, fits great, and is about the same price. Highly recommended. |
