TLC Auto Detail - Scion FR-S 10 Series Cquartz Finest!
 

Hi there everyone! Just a quickie today. We had a brand new (less than 50 miles on the clock) Scion FR-S 10 Series come in last week to get a New Car Prep and Cquartz Finest.

I have to admit that at first I was a little disapointed that the color for Scions special edition was just silver. After working with the car a little bit though, I noticed that the color shifted from a blue to green tint depending on the lighting, and once coated with Finest it looks pretty sharp! I would have to say that this is a special silver with tons of flake that looks great in person after being corrected.

Anyway, we did the normal wash and decon steps to prep the car for correction. This car didn't have a lot of swirls, but there were some defects so we went over it with HD Polish on a green uber pad with the Rupes15. This left us with tons of gloss and not defects in the paint. Unfortunately it has been overcast/raining for the last 3 weeks here, so no sun shots. We did two wipe downs with Car Pro Eraser to prep, and then applied two layers of Cquartz Finest. It came our great!

Sorry for the lack of pics, but we have been absolutely slammed lately. I truly enjoyed working on this unique paint, and can't wait for our next one to come through the door! Thanks for checking us out!

I gave mine some lovin as well (10 series owner too). I have it thick coat of chemical guys honeydew snowfoam, then washed with meguiars ultimate car wash, then proceeded to clay with meguiars clay kit, then a nice polish with meguiars ultimate polish (not many defects but it did have them) with the green pad, then meguiars pre-wax, ETOH wipedown and finally covered it with opticoat.... I must say the opticoat is holding up to what people say about it. Ive had my car for 1 month and a half and water beading is perfect. Never has a wax lasted that long. The car looks extra clean always. Love car washes
