Used 2013 FR-S Price Predictions?

Can anyone offer a guess as to the value of some used 2013s by this spring? I'm more interested in them rather than a new 2014, simply because lower cost and more room for mods.

I think kbb already has values for you.

With the 14 only getting knee pads and a touchscreen radio, that any 13 can get for $500, I see the value not dropping that much.

When you say knee pads, are you saying the '14's will have cushioned knee pads? Not like the uncomfortable knee bruisers we have now?

Yep.

Since the highly successful launch of the FR-S, enthusiasts have taken notice of its
ability to “bring the sport back to the car.” To promote additional comfort and enhance
the drivability of the car, Scion has adopted all-new, sport knee cushions for the FR-S.
Located on the interior door panels and along-side the instrument panel, the extra
support offers added comfort during spirited driving.
In addition, the 2014 FR-S also features the all-new Scion Standard Display Audio,
featuring a 6.1 inch LCD touchscreen and includes AM/FM/CD/HD Radio
, Aux/USB
port with iPod® connectivity, hands-free phone capability and music streaming via

BLUETOOTH
® wireless technology.
MSRP for the 2014 FR-S six-speed manual and six-speed sequential automatic
transmissions are $24,700 and $25,800 respectively. For an increase of $200, the 2014
FR-S offers enhanced comfort and an all-new standard audio system for a supreme
driving experience.

Asking price likely 21k or so this winter for one with 10k miles. You can probably pick some up for under 20k this winter if I had to guess.

Yup, found one in Ephrata PA going for 21k manual with 8000 miles, just want to know if the better pricing will come soon I think only by spring I can expect another $2000 drop or something.

Based on what I've seen for performance cars, the price will fall around December, and either go back up in April or remain the same.

Turk- that may be a good deal. I think after February the prices will increase on use and alot of inventory will go off the market while the owners enjoy the summer with them

Yup. Obviously it has a lot to do with where you live, but I'm in the Chicagoland area, where winter sucks.

Before buying the R8 I kept a close eye on the used F430 and Gallardo market. It was nuts how much the prices of those cars would fluctuate. Most cars are worth 50% or less of their sticker in 5 years, with most depreciation occurring within the first 2 years. To be honest, I'm surprised these cars have dropped in value this quickly.

I was wondering that as well but its good for me  probably because of the large hype around the vehicle itself and so many sold means that they should be a dime a dozen. Coupled with the fact that used car dealers are turned off by manual cars as is the case with the majority of FRS'
