Any1 have deposits down for the FRS or BRZ in Can? I'm interested in putting a deposit down (assuming its refundable) and am interested in knowing what everyone's put down.

Also, group buy in Tdot?

500$ Montreal area.. Same thing, price + test drive... + Same thing @ Subaru lol

Some Subaru dealers are asking $1000 (the same ones that claim to not know how many they are getting in, yet have huge numbers of preorders...), but I found one for $500 that knew exactly how many cars they are getting.

Hmm thanks. If a dealer asks for 500 I guess I might as well.

What dates are dealers estimating? May or June?

mine said there are 400 allotted to Canada and I think it was 60 to Calgary and 23 to their dealership. end of May, beginning of June would be the first deliveries. I'm #5 or 6 on their list, so I might get lucky and get one of the first batches.

I've got a $500 deposit on at BOTH a Scion and Subaru Dealership.

Scion #8 in Line, Subaru, First.

Both dealers wanted $1000, but i only gave $500..Why give more than you have to:iono:

Both Subaru and Scion here basically have the Same policy, You put a "preference", but basically everything that comes in Gets offered to highest people on the list obviously.

Scion is May/June, Subaru is June/July

I put down a $500 refundable deposit at Richmond Hill Subaru. Willowdale asked for $2000 but refundable. Markham asked for $1000 but they weren't willing to do a refundable deposit.

Oh wow, interesting that Scion is estimating they will receive their cars first. If so, I will be putting my deposit with them.


Any idea when they say cars will come in? I'm currently emailing Markham looking to put a deposit - but only if its refundable.

RH Subaru vaguely told me late May-June.

Let me know what Markham tells you Heero because they were pretty firm about the non-refundable deposit when I asked.

I have a $1000 deposit at a Subaru dealership in Vancouver. They told me should be coming in in May or June.

500 down at Budd's in Oakville. This was a little while ago but they said they've got 6 cars coming and I'm #3. When you pick your dealer, ask about your order in the lineup and their allocation since you may put yourself on the waiting list at one dealer while another may have enough to cover you in the first round.
