Must-read for Top Gear fans
 

Check out this post from Brent Laymer, the founding and only member of the West Idaho Top Gear Appreciation Club. So funny I almost wet myself.

I didn't find that funny at all. Where was the joke? He writes like a 10 year old and makes no point in his ramblings about scripting and how much he hates Top Gear.

Agreed, I want my 2 minutes back.

I agree this season was a let down. Need more car tests and less rubbish. Maybe do one epic trip/mission as the first or last episode for the season. But test cars damnit.

Well, Top Gear has been lacking quite a bit from the past few seasons. I do understand they need to be a bit more factual but I still enjoy it. Idk, even when they have a bad season I suppose I would still have a good time watching Top Gear no matter because it's better than not watching it at all.

Maybe TopGear USA told TopGear UK to stop making them look bad. "Hey, you guys are in season 18, we're still in season 2 - could you sandbag a season for us to catch up,"

Lateral G numbers excite very few.

Hearing about James' penis getting a tingly feeling when he drives a classic Ferrari is great.


If this guy wants numbers, tell him to go make a MotorWeek fan club. Top Gear is an entertainment show about cars, and the three of them do a good job keeping it entertaining.

That blog post was very, very unfunny. His attempted conceit, didn't work on any level.

Unless of course the guy doesn't exist and they were just taking the piss out of how they think some lives in his parent's basement, works part-time at Pep Boys, American would view TG?

Clarification - that post was a JOKE! it's called satire.

And here I thought that would be self-evident, silly me.

The whole Sniffpetrol site is a satire on all things automotive and race car, its widely read by folks in F1 and the industry in Europe. It has a few very funny mock news posts about the Tobaru as well.

Meh, I lewl'd. Because it was so scripted, I hated the script of it with hate.
