Question for you suspension Guru's

Are the shocks on the the twins exactly the same i.e. the same dampening???
Only to differ in spring rates?
The reason I'm asking is that I want to get some BRZ spec Sprint springs for my FR-S to essentially have a "less tail happy/more balanced" BRZ suspension.

some info has been put out in interviews by toyota reps saying they are different, but no one has posted any official information that i have seen. i was looking at a pretty comprehensive shock dyno in a japanese magazine the other day, and the shocks came out almost identical.

Damping is what shocks do

Dampening is what water does

There are shock dynos somewhere (Racecomp Engineering I want to say) that confirm that the shocks are the same. The springs are different.
