guysguysguys - listen it's all about the straights, turns are just a glorified brake cooling zone!

ModBargains.com 08-12-2013 06:33 PM

Awesome video! Thanks for sharing. Frustrating day it looks like being held up by traffic, but the rovals always like that. Big HP cars get you on the straights, slow you down in the bendy stuff.

Good work! Keep it up and you might win the HPDE championship!

subaruferrucci 08-12-2013 06:49 PM

i think the is the story of the Twins lives. getting held up in the turns all the time. then the higher horse power cars motor by and you blow past them in the turns again. happens to me all the time

How bad were the Porsche and Mustang drivers?

They're actually not bad drivers. This was in the Advanced group, and I was simply taking advantage of the FR-S's strengths, specifically, it's ultra light weight. This is most evident by me being able to brake deeper and harder, even with just 225 street tires.

The lower power also makes it much easier for me to stay WOT through the banked turn.

Good watch. Nice driving.

suaveflooder 08-13-2013 01:04 AM

NICE!

Nice driving how you stay close to the high power cars and that recovery from 126+ miles loose end pretty scary :party0030::bow:

nice driving man. i was surprised at how late i could brake compared to bigger cars when i went to the track, it was a definite advantage even for a novice like me. how ever i was no match for their "put right pedal to floor" skills :(

Random statement
Was that your girlfriend in the passenger seat? Pretty skinny legs.

No, it was a random passenger who asked for a ride. :D

I don't even remember her name tbh.
