Colorado Snow

How does this car handle in the snow? I am moving to Colorado for school and i am bringing my BRZ. I used to live in Colorado but i was to young to drive there i know you have to take it slow. What do you guys do for the winter?

good set of snow tires and some weight in the trunk, gets around

Well if you own the car already and moving there for school there isn't much really to do besides buy snow tires. Once you got those it will hold its own just be mindful of the RWD and your throttle input.

Weight in the trunk isn't necessary. BRZ with snow tires here, no issues getting through the snow. The only time you're going to have issues is when there's 9 in of snow, which rarely happens in the Front Range.

I spent most of my time in Breckenridge this past winter, and it was a big winter, and the frs did great. I have studded snows and no significant weight in the back.

I bought a 2015 STI also to drive in the snow

This car is very capable in the snow with snow tires. I don't have any problems driving around the Denver area.
