For CS/RTR folks, anyone experienced this?

We tried out our great big concrete site for the first time (it was spectacular). Courses were ~90 seconds, fast, fun.

The first series of elements just didn't offer a good place to shift so I just kept the car floored through a series of offsets that led to a decreasing radius turnaround.

The weird thing: After three to four seconds on the rev limiter (I know, I know), I got my rpms and 2-3 mph back. This behavior repeated itself each time.

I was able to sort out the other shifts but I suppose there may be other cases where it might make a shift to third less appealing, if you knew you could provoke this response.

Or not.

If you were on it that long, you lost revs and speed... when it dropped enough it let it run back up again, that's my guess.
