Can you push down the rear LCA?

Hey, just finished lower springs installation. The rear assembly was a bitch. I removed bolts that connected to rear struts and disks. I also removed the rear sway bolts. It took me awhile to disassembly and assembly the struts back as well as the the disk and sway bolts.

I have a concern. Can I actually push down the rear LCA?!! It felt like the end of lca frame was connected to torsional spring. Sorry Im a noob here. Please let me know. I hope I was not doing it wrong. I really had to do some elbow grease and brute force to adjust the concentricity of the bolts. :(

Yes, pushing it down is fine. It is a locating arm, simply connecting the spindle to the sub frame.

I have no idea how you'd finish that install without pushing down on the LCA in some form.
