Back on topic : I just ordered a q300. I hear they sound pretty mellow until you get on the throttle. Yours sounded pretty subdued (definitely not as loud as the overhead jet).

The Q300 is quiet when wot even with a catless front pipe

Almost my exact setup except I have a P&L Motorsports overpipe. It is def a quieter setup even with no cat (resonator instead) in the frontpipe.

Mellow sound? oh boy you obviously haven't heard my setup, i wake up my neighbors all the time...lol

OP, sounds excellent for a civil daily. Do you like it? Butt Dyno?

Have you put a few hundred miles on it? Mine got louder after 500-1000 miles

love it, def pulls harder over stock in the upper >5k range

yeah about 4000km in. no real noticeable change in sound since the day i got it and it feels like it actually got quieter but thats probably me getting used to it

Hmm it sounds a lot like an airplane. Not sure it's what I would have gone with.
