Sheena Dela Cruz is a tough lady to keep up with, and her Scion/Toyota FR-S is no different. Other 86DRIVE members have attested to the brisk pace she maintains through the local mountain roads. That’s right, folks, she’s a DRIVER. Don’t let the purple-colored Brembo brakes or the neo-chrome lug nuts fool you, this is not merely a show car or garage queen. Sheena enjoys taking her 6-speed manual transmission-equipped FR-S, nicknamed Crystal, out for drives on the weekends and hitting the twisties with the NorCal 86DRIVE club. And then turns around and wins trophies at the car shows, like the Best Female Owned FRS award at this year’s Spring NorCal 86 Owners Meet. She’s also a regular attendee at Moto Miwa’s Dynamic Driving Academy down in Southern California. In her own words, she is an enthusiast for both ends of the spectrum — the racing world and the show world. And so her car reflects that dual nature, as a sort of hybrid show but race-capable car.
