Grinding from 5th to 6th
 

Awhile back i noticed that if i shifted from 5th to 6th and the revs where very high it would scratch and not go into gear. I took it in to Toyota and they are rebuilding my transmission under warranty. Hopefully this will fix it, has anyone else had a similar problem?

i've never gone fast enough to high rev 5th, how fast were you going?!

Fast lol :burnrubber: I first noticed it on an on-ramp probably a little over 80 and it would upshift to 6th

Can't believe they are rebuilding your trans, just gotta let the revs drop before you shift into 6.
