Energy Suspension?
A while back, I saw someone post some car pics and I saw a decal saying "Energy Suspension". I honestly didn't think this was a real company until the OP explained. Well I ran across a few parts from them. But my particular interest is in replacing the steering rack bushings. I'm was thinking about going with TiC Delrin bushings which are $55. The Energy bushings are polyurethane and only cost $15. Does anyone know anything about them?

They've been around for a long time, and make quality products from what I've seen.

energy and whiteline both make good stuff. I've been using whiteline as energy products weren't available initially. I actually have the TIC metal steering rack bushings and find them to be fine from an NVH standpoint.

I went into this thread hoping something cool like a actively energized suspension system or something sci-fi

I've ran energy in the past. Not bad but install was awful. For that car prothane was much better. So far for this car the whitening go in easy and seem to be good products. Well, except the tophats but whiteline is trying to fix that.

I've used Energy Suspension and Prothane poly bushings in a variety of different cars over the last 10-15 years. In general, I've been happy with the ES products I've used. Can't speak specifically to the BRZ/FRS applications (yet).

They have been around for awhile
Don't have any of their parts on my car but did on my EK Turbo project. Good stuff at a decent price. |
