XGames Rally Racing & Gymkhana Grid Events
 

Anyone catch the XGames rally race events last weekend? I thought they were pretty good, although they need to bring more talented drivers like Loeb & other euros over, its always a better show. Ive driven rallycross before and hope one day I can get out there in 86Insider RallyCar:burnrubber:. Pretty happy to see more racing making it into the action sports side of things.

Gymkhana Grid looked pretty interesting. The sports "creator" Ken Block failed to qualify for the finals. Tanner Foust took the win and Patrick Sandell took silver

Rally cross lites are smaller, lighter, NA powered cars. Although with considerably less power, the winning time was still faster then all SuperCar competitors from 6th position back. Joni Wiman takes gold with a time of 6:50 and Mitchell DeJong was close on his heels in second.

RallyCar SuperCar finals were held on Sunday. The fastest of three events & held at Irwindale event center the finals were exciting. A crash on the first lap shook it up for sure. Toomas Heikkinen takes the win and Tanner foust picked up a second XGames medal
