This beautiful game is growing in the US rapidly and I hope it continues. It's a worldwide sport but there is no official thread so why not start one? I guess we can start off with a little list and start discussing from there such as news, highlights, transfer rumors, etc.

Big News: Gareth Bale heavily linked with Real Madrid.

I love soccer/futball... but I'm not really a fan of watching em. I rathe play em than watch em

Hmm, I thought there was a thread, but I can't find it.

The only club I can say I really like are the Philadelphia Union. I enjoy watching a lot of EPL clubs, don't really have a favorite. Clint Dempsey is my favorite player, although I'm also a big fan of Didier Drogba.

I think there was but I couldn't find it either.

I like Union kits. Very class imo. I have to say the same for MLS. I enjoy watching but not a particular team I like.

Brasil. That is all.

Man, can't believe Scholes only recently retired. I remember playing as him back in FIFA 03. Haha. And don't even get me started on Ryan Giggs.

Giggs been playing before I was born. Crazy, now he's a player-coach. Absolute legend.

Giggs has been banging his friend's wives since before I was born!

I play some soccer. Scored a goal last night!

I had ACL surgery in October and have been getting back into it this spring and summer. It's hugely therapeutic and refreshing for me to play.

I'm an Arsenal and DC United fan. It's...been a little depressing the last few years. If Arsenal end up with Suarez I may have to jump ship.

Obviously, I'm absolutely having a laugh at all the Liverpool fans who supported all his BS and now in return wants to leave. :lol:

The transfer drama is pretty funny I'll admit. I would have so much preferred Higuain. Maybe not as talented but a lot more class and less headache than Suarez. Better for the team.

Favorute Clubs: AC Milan, Barcelona, Man. U, Man. City, and Chelsea

@M-17 you just like everything just about don't you except Bundesliga? I like Serie A but Italians are full of corruption for whatever reason.

LOL, j/k:D. Although I can't like that man after that head butt in the World Cup. He was a great player though.

Also, Taylor Twellman is one of the saddest stories in MLS. He had 3 years of migraines from that concussion that ended his career early. It's great to have him commentating games now though, so glad he's back to himself.
