Sport mode/traction control
Can someone explain to me what all the sport mode does? From what I can tell it just turns the stability control off. But something I can't seem to figure out is when I turn the traction control off and have the sport mode on after about 10 seconds the traction control turns back on. Why is that? I like to drive around without those aids if possible. Is there any way to have the sport mode on and traction off?

Do you have auto or manual? Are you sure you aren't referencing the "VSC Sport" mode? That mode does allow for a little more play before stability control kicks in. In an auto tranny - the "Sport" mode button holds the revs much higher before shifting. In a manual the "sport" button essentially does nothing (I've hear suspension is slightly tighter - not sure if that is true). At any rate - some basic searching could have answered your question:

press and hold the TC button for at least 5 seconds. It will turn the traction control completely off until the next time you turn the car on. I don't recommend it, but use that at your own risk. ;)

it's MT and thanks for the response.. I tried searching and couldn't find what I was looking for. I heard that about the suspension too but I can't tell a difference. And yes I was referring to the VSC Sport.
What I have been doing is turning the sport mode on and then holding the traction control button. That looks like it turns the sport mode off but keeps stability off and traction off. |

Thanks for the responses! That's what I thought but I wasn't positive so I just wanted clarification. Just making sure my sports mode/traction/stability controls were working properly :)
