Having got that out of the way, I've given up. I bought this from japanparts in June, it's been on and off the car four or five times and probably has 500 miles of travel on it.

There's no damage of any kind, but I felt I should mention that it's not 100% 'as new'.

What you get:
  • The spoiler;
  • The pushnuts for the bolts, and the foam 'washers' on the bolt pads (already installed);
  • New adhesive tape, both perimeter and on the end pads;
  • Enough extra tape to replace/reinstall at least once, perhaps twice;
  • More than enough adhesive vinyl 'stickers' to cover existing holes, if any.
You DO NOT get the drilling template, I can't find it - and in any case, it wasn't of much use (to me anyway) as it was not particularly accurate. I wound up overdrilling the holes anyway, and if I was doing it over I'd probably just remove the bolts and go 100% adhesive. The bolt 'pads' are attached to the spoiler with adhesive tape, so they could be cut away with an X-Acto knife pretty easily (and reinstalled later, if so chosen). If you do choose to drill, the centerline of the holes matches the centerline of the existing holes on the trunk edge (for BRZ Limiteds, that is) - just extend by the center-to-center measurement from the spoiler.

Is that black or dark metallic gray?

Admiral Ballsy 08-05-2013 04:49 PM

Black. Factory-painted (or at least, TRD-painted), as opposed to purchased-raw-and-painted-by-me.

@Admiral Ballsy

Just to clarify, is this painted in Black/"Raven"/"Crystal Black Silica" or Dark Grey/"Dark Grey Metallic"/"Asphalt"?

I'm actually very interested if this is painted in Asphalt.

Admiral Ballsy 08-06-2013 08:22 AM

It's black. Not grey, not dark grey, not asphalt. Black.

AFAIK, black and white are the only colors in which it's available "pre-painted".

Could you ship this ups if I pay today?

Admiral Ballsy 08-06-2013 09:35 AM

I'll ship FedEx Ground, and would do so the day after payment.
