0-60... at below 3-4k rpm shifts

I'm curious, what do you think the FR-S can do in 0-60 at shifts around 3-4k rpm? Like driving in light traffic, as a daily driver, etc.

ScionFrsFan 08-05-2013 12:43 AM

I have always wondered that as well...shifting before the curve.

Stealth Gt86 08-05-2013 12:44 AM

that's not driving it like you stole it.

mit_peid 08-05-2013 12:45 AM

Why do you even ask? Sorry, but that just sounds like a dumb question.

I've babied it to see what kind of fuel mileage i could get by doing that... I got up to 46 mpg avg before doing that.

Luis_GT 08-05-2013 12:49 AM

Slow...

I already suffered enough of that through the break in...

Also... why would you want to know that, if your shifting at 3 to 4K you probably won't hit 60 anyway or it will depend on whoever is in front...

It will do OK ..... as long as you're not in a hurry ... ;)

3k is where the motor makes peak torque so not too slow but I notice everyone where I live drives their suv or truck way too fast...

Some of you should really just sell your car and get something "better".

Ah, 0 to 60 usually more quickly than most of the cars around me despite it not being a "race car"? Heavy traffic, light traffic, no traffic, whatever.

Kelbyat07 08-05-2013 03:11 AM

Around 15 seconds

My other car is a BMW :burnrubber:

Why would someone wonder if the FR-S/BRZ would make a good "daily driver"? Or that you would need to keep your foot buried in the gas at all times?

Any car can make a good daily driver... except mustangs... mustangs suck at everything...
