Here we go -- Slowly, but surely
 

I bought my FRS in early March and I have been thoroughly enjoying her since! I really enjoy driving around and not seeing another car that is the same as mine. There are a few driving around Madison, WI, but we do enjoy a car that is rare in most areas.

This forum has been a great place to learn and I have had a great time reading the threads. There is a lot of knowledge flying around here, and some BS, but that is everywhere. Thought I would contribute to the community with a build thread. Hopefully I will have more and more updates.

The first mod I had to do was the Perrin shorty antenna. That RC car antenna was obnoxious, and I am not a big fan of the shark fin setup. K&N filter shortly after that and now I have black painted badges, along with carbon fiber fender inserts. The inserts look great! Very happy with the outcome.

I agree...This will be the next mod on the list. I forgot to add it on the OP. I will edit that now. Smoked side markers are what I was thinking. I will eventually do smoked tails and smoked reverse light, so the smoked side marker should look good.

**Went for a drive today with a friend of mine that has an Impreza sedan. Found some back roads that were fun and then headed towards a park to take some shots.

**Also updated a few mods in the list for Current Mods. Just finished painting the silver interior pieces to match my blacked out Scion badges. Came out way better than I anticipated. Everything came apart super easy as well. I will have some pics of the interior once the new shift knob arrives. I am wanting to take a whole series of shots once the knob from Anarchy_Motive arrives. Crossing my fingers for the end of August for an arrival date.

Just purchased a new Samsung Note 8.0 so I can use the Torque app. Any other suggestions for android based apps that work well in the car? I have been an ios guy for a while now and this is my first android device. I have been very happy with it for these first few hours.

Already purchased the Ram Mount XGrip for small tablets. Should be here by the end of the week. It will hook up with the current mounting solution that I am using with my iphone. I might possibly leave the iphone mount alone and purchase a new ram mount for the little side window. Have to see how it works when the mount comes in.

Wait a few hundred miles before the sound clip. It will still sound mostly stock out of the box :p
