Final production numbers for 2013?
 

I'm curious now that we are finally reaching the end of the 2013 model year what the final production numbers will be for the BRZ...

Specifically, which colors sold in what amount, how many were Premium vs. Limited, etc.

Probably a tad premature, but I figured I would start a thread anyhow especially since GBS is being discontinued and we can get a number on exactly how many were made in that color :p (I think I'm getting one of the LAST ones in that color!)

really? GBS color is discontinued for Subaru!? Can you post a link of where you got this info?

I might just hang on to mine then. I was planning on trading it in when 2015 wrx sti is launched.

I'm really interested in this info as well. Is this a rumor you heard from an inside source or is there an official announcement from Subaru?

Would be interesting if that's how Suby and Toyota plan on keeping these cars fresh: add new exclusive colors every year.

Canada never had GBS, DGM or LR. We only have WRB, SWP, CBS, and SSM for the 2013 models. 2014 has new colours for us, not sure which ones though. The Lightning Red is confirmed though.

I've owned my car for 2 months now, and I still haven't seen a GBS in Los Angeles / Santa Barbara area. If they discontinue this color.. there might be only a few left. For example, BRZs sold up to date in the US is around 9000, and probably will continue to rise to 10500 max by end of September. I saw somewhere on this forum that GBS and LR are produced the least with about 16% of the total production. That puts GBS and LR each at around 900-1000 cars at the moment...

As posted on a few other threads this morning, I was hoping they would keep GBS. Clearly it didn't sell as high. For a while I wanted WRB, then came decided a more subtle choice of GBS or DGM....now its back to WRB or DGM. Shame...

Subaru has a tendancy to do one-year color options. I'm just glad I'm getting one :D

confirmed by the 2014 order sheet sadly. I really wanted GBS for 2014....depending on how much I like this color, i will try to find a late 2013. Color over extra features will be the choice.

lol yep... I just woke up when I saw that and I was shocked & in disbelief.

Looks like I'll be taking better care of my GBS Premium A/T..

since there's no GBS in 2014, and there's no A/T in premium as well :bonk:

Do not tell me they are introducing Plasma Blue as a replacement for GBS; I will sh*t bricks!!!
