GT86 Headlights
Long story short is I'm on holiday back home where GT86 are EUDM. I stopped by the Toyota dealership to inquirie about the headlights.
The sales man did not agree to give me any info about them until I would provide him with the VIN of my vehicle :mad0260:, and as I owned an frs I knew it would've been useless to provide him with such VIN. The salesman was kinda friendly and after explaining my situation he agreed to bring them to check them out then talk pricing. So I walk in the next day and he brings them out, and boy where they amazing :drool: , until he said 12600 DHs which is about 3400 dollars. After a few minutes he said the finall price on these would be 2200 dollars for both. I left and stated that Id think about it. After an hour I got a phone call from the same guy stating that he could give me them for 1,685 Dollars for both. Now that price is very tempting and I kind of feel like its a great deal. Have you guys ever heard of a better deal ? If so I'd like to hear from such vendors or resalers |

What's included in that price? Just the housings, or do you get the HID bulbs/ballasts as well? I'm going to assume it doesn't include the levelling ECU either.
IMO, that's a ton of money just for headlights. |
if it's just the headlights thats not bad. the vendors that can get em here i see about 2200. plus BRZ headlights are about 700 each in the US. so that seems fair for a product we dont even sell here. as for leveling and all that, thats the easy part because im sure all the BRZ equipment will work since they r both true HID

I imported my EDM lights from Nigel-JDM and I was right around the 2,200 price range. State-side I think you can the FR-S 2014 lights for about 1900-2000. I have yet to see a pair lower than that. Granted, since I have received mine I have not looked as much as I did in the past. My $2,200 came with everything to get the headlights plugged in and functional. Bulbs, ballasts, etc. |

@tbwoodlee im getting the full headlight assembly for 1685 which i think includes the lights but i dont know much about the ballasts. Where the ballasts a separate part you had to order ?
|
Thats cheaper then Ive seen anywhere...Where is this at? I have a few friends stationed overseas...gotta get one of them on this...

http://www.nigel-jdmparts.com/vehicl...head-light-rhd I did not have to order anything separately. They came with ballasts and bulbs. The ballasts were 35 watts though if that helps at all. |
There is the housing only without the ballast and bulbs.
Price is around $1760 Shipped for a pair. 880 Each Side. |
Here is the question.... Do the beams on these point right or left?
Edit.... Checking the link they do have a left hand drive option which IMHO is a must state side (after dealing with rhd projectors in the past) Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4 |
