Didn't find anything GQ related in a search, so here you guys go!

Good write up. Interesting "grandparents".

Nice to see GQ get in the mix for reviews of the BRZ.

Que up the "I don't always drive in a suit, but when I do I am drifting a BRZ" dos equis meme

People still read GQ? ;)

Nice so a confirmation (sort of) of the 0-60mph - it's not bad

I hear wider performance tires can fix that...

...and a turbo too *trollface*

Thanks for this lol

Wow! 6.2 seconds is great for this car.

OrbitalEllipses 03-21-2012 05:40 PM

It's GQ, I wouldn't trust their 0-60.

Turbowned 03-21-2012 05:52 PM

It's written by Jamie Kitman, who is a chief writer for Automobile magazine. So yes, you can trust the 0-60 lol. He writes all the dry-humorous articles at the beginning of each issue.

I've seen 0 - 60 in 6.2 seconds in other places as well.

:word: I highly doubt the top speed is 125 mph either, lol.

i believe it! thats not so high for a type of car like this...I believe the limit probably around 138mph before the ECU starts kicking in....

my Evo10 "says" 180mph but i went up to 155mph on the race course...stock everything not even a tune...

Most cars are electronically limited to 155 in the US. My Speed3 (pre-AccessPort) hit 155 and just bounced like a rev limiter. Post-tune it hits 180 just fine.

EDIT: Miss-spoke, meant to say most cars, not all cars. There's a wide variance in electronic limited, but the majority tends to be around 155.
