Thoughts on Five Axis body kit

I already have the Five Axis spoiler which came with my Firestorm FRS.
I found a 4 piece body kit already painted Firestorm on Ebay and made a "best offer" of $500 thinking there's no way they'll accept since the buy it now was $1100. To my surprise they accepted the offer.

The only catch is shipping will be about $150 and there are a few tiny rock chips on the front lip, but nothing major.

Is this a good deal? I've heard some issues with this kit slipping. On my WRX I bolted and 3M tapped the CWest kit so is this similar?

I think you got a hell of a deal! I personally love the kit and it'll be the first thing I slap on when I get my whiteout.

I think it is a great looking kit, especially for the price that you got it for. Unfortunately, IMO for it to look good and right, you need to lower (or slam) your car and get 18"/19" wheels. I wouldn't worry about the few rock chips on the front bumper piece right now because you'll inevitable get more. Your clearance to the ground will be minimal and it probably will be a PITA to drive around on the streets. But hell you'll look good doing so. :)

Do it.

I'd probably have the front lip and bumper clear wrapped to protect the paint. Scratches on a new car is something I get really anal about

Even with shipping that's a great deal!

Be sure and post pics once you get it installed!
