vancouver parts development

so i run my own machine and fabrication shop and have done alot of race car and rally car fabrication work. i too am getting a frs but i need to sell my evo first. if anyone wants some free prototype parts i will need a car at the shop ( if i dont get mine first that is) for a few days to fab up some parts so that i can make production run jigs from them. i want to supply our local market with upgraded goodies made locally and for reasonable prices.

Thanks Adam

Whereabouts in vancouver you located? I might be interested. What kind of parts will be in the works?

adamturbo 03-22-2012 03:01 AM

my shop is just outside of downtown near clark and powell.

parts that im thinking of doing ( not all protos will be given to the doner car like the big brakes as that would be to expensive for me to give out.)

front and rear strut bars, rear swaybar stiffener, chasis reinforcment braces, mastercylinder brace, fender braces. camber adjustment plates

Also going to develop a big brake kit using wilwood calipers either 4 piston or 6 piston.

stainless exhaust system 2.25 inch and or 2.5 inch mandrel bent with high flow cat and tuned mufflers. and possibly a turbo header also for turbo kits down the road.

more to come im sure but this will be enough for now.

If there is anything you want to see made just post your ideas here.

Ah okay, cool, so you're basically a minute away from the chevron on powell, i live on the north shore, but i'm probably 15 minutes away if that.

I honestly dont know if i'm getting a brz OR FR-S. I'm FIRST on the list at richmond subaru, so i could honestly be ONE of the first in BC to be driving one, My FR-S deposit spot is currently #8. We'll see what happens. If i can't get my car over to you, i'd for sure at least be interested in the products you're going to make.

Have you thought about:
-Underdrive Pulley kits
-Intake Manifolds
-Aluminum Air Intake with some outsourced AEM/K&N or COBB filters
-Wheel spacers/adapters
-Aluminum "Dress-up" Radiator Shrouding
-Additional Aluminum Brake Ducting
-Rear Diff Cooling Plate
-Aluminum Rear Diff Bushings
-Aluminum Subframe Bushing Collars
-Larger Capacity Oil Pan

I would personally be interested in an Axle Back muffler system, possibly a cat-back. however if you can build my list i'd be interested in quite a few things..lol

I've got quite a few ideas...sorry, most are garbage..lol;)

wheel spacers are easy and i plan to make a set with replacement longer studs so that we can get the stock wheels to sit flush.
i definatly will do some sort of cold air intake system, and most the stuff on your list can be done, depending on demand for such parts is unknown so they may need to be one offs for your application.

would you be doing anything for those that want the rumble? UEL?

Also for the exhaust would you go single or keep the dual exits?

Dimman 03-22-2012 09:42 PM

You have any recent pics of some of your exhaust work?

adamturbo 03-26-2012 03:39 AM

style of exhaust is dependant on the person, i can do dual exit or single.
