"Drive" channel on YouTube
 

No not the movie with Ryan Gosling. The youtube channel. Just came across it the other day. Has Matt Farah leading "Tuned" (I don't mind him) and Chris Harris with his own show. At least they have some good guys leading out with the channel.

Did you see the most recent one with the Lotus Exige? 2150 lbs and 710hp.

I always watch Chris Harris. Tuned I watch if I'm interested which has been really awesome as of late. The Lotus Exige I think was my fav. by far. Road Testament has gotten better.

I think he is the best reviewer out there now. I could watch him all day. A real enthusiast who knows how to review a car and put it through its paces.

He is really cool to watch. I like his character. Tuned is cool and all but I think Matt Farrah should get some pointers from Chris.

Other than a Mazda Miata rant, I have not found a Chris Harris review where he absolutely dislikes a car. As such, I find there's little point in reading/watching any more of his reviews because I already know that he'll like the car.

I find Matt Farrah to be a putz. In one of his early reviews on Drive, he was talking about women's breast size and comparing it to a car. It wasn't funny, wasn't informative, and didn't make me like the car more. It was simply awkward and lame. I couldn't even make it through the rest of his review because from then on, I found that his mouth simply spewed verbal garbage.

^He only reviews good cars that barely have anything bad about them to begin with, that's why.

But he did criticize the 86's engine noise and brakes. At the end of that review he said it has less power and less grip. And if you watch his 911 GT3 RS vs. Italia 458 comparo, he has criticisms on both cars. You just have to listen closely for these things.

That Lotus Exige is the madness.

I really enjoy the different "shows" on Drive. They are doing some for 3 months, then off 3 months. I think Jalopnik.com may get a 3 month run?

I actually watch the episodes with regularity - except the race coverage stuff- I just don't watch the races, so I don't know the drivers, etc.

Its cool to have some nice car shows to watch. If you think the average 30 minute tv show is really 20 minute of show, and even that has 5-10 minutes of filler - a 10-20 minute YouTube clip is just as satisfying. (and no commercials). It's also CURRENT. TV episodes get recorded months in advance. The Drive shows seems to be done in the same week - at least the ones just chatting on camera look like it's one take and done.

I think this week was really good. The Lotus by far was my favorite. I thought the Plus 8 was really cool even though nobody can fit in it.

Chris Harris doing History of Mercedes-Benz SL. I'm excited for that.

Chris Harris needs to be on this forum! there were few people more excited than him that tested the Zx6!
