What's nuts is Sabine Schmitz trying a Ford Transit van around Nurburgring on Top Gear in 10 minutes 8 seconds.

^ Yeah it was. Sabine knows the 'Ring like the back of her hand.

But in case anyone decides to try to compare them...her lap was on the Nordschleife, and the 24h race uses a layout that includes most of the Grand Prix circuit as well. So yeah, the GT86 took longer, but it covered a lot more ground.

Cutting 7 seconds off a lap of the full ring - outstanding. Impressed with passing cars like the TT and the. Hanging in the turns with the Porsche GT2s, very nice.

Pretty sweet. Those rumble strips/curbs are nasty! I'd love to get the opportunity to drive my 86 on the ring.
