They are having the 13th annual Bay Area Meet in Fremont, CA this Aug 11.

This will be my first time going but it looks like there's gonna be sweet subies, vendor representation and some honest burger grillin. BYOB too!

My buddy Paul and I just bought tickets so you can bet there will be at least two or three BRZ there for sure. It'd be awesome to make a splash since this is the 1st year the car will be out for this meet.

Tickets are $10 and presale ends today July 31 so make sure to get your tickets through paypal. If you buy at the door its $20.

ahh, too bad I'm going to be in SoCal for 86FEST instead that day. I would have liked to go to this too.

But I've added it to the (quickly filling) events calendar on 86DRIVE. That is one really busy weekend for car meets I tell ya. :thumbsup:

You should post this on the Norcal section. Good meet, I usually try to hit it every year (last year's was at Mt. Hami, so did a nice drive to it). Great folks, as you would expect from subaru owners, very family (and dog) friendly. I believe @Khalis and I were the only ones from norcal ft86 that were there last year. There were a few of us frs/brz's there last year and other than a couple of stupid teenager off-comments ("doi that's not a subaru doi") it was good fun. I just had to put them in place after showing all the subaru logos in the frs's lol
@Cjymiller I'd buy you a beer if you grab me a shirt! I need to keep my collection going (since 2007).

Oh, ya, won't be able to make it this year, wife and I scheduled other plans before the meet date was finalized. Was guessing it was gonna be Sept. like last year, oh well.

Hadn't noticed the shirt, thanks! Actually kinda "meh" about it, looks like a musical festival shirt lol. All the past shirts had some kind of theme with elements from the meet location.

How many cars have registered for the show and how many ppl are signed up for the event? I'm definitely looking forward to it.

I was disappointed to not see any BRZ's entered in the car show! Had I looked through the entries before out cutoff date I would've entered mine

We'll have to make a mini unofficial BRZ show by ourselves in some corner of the event.

Mine may or may not be there. It depends how long the dealership decides to take fixing my stall-on-startup issue (goes in Wednesday afternoon).

I'll be the one running the model photobooth.
