I never had a oil starvation issue that I was aware of, but what happened at the track was I lost half my oil cus it shot out of the PCV valve, and the carwouldn't turn over afterwards. There was no sound or detonation of anysort thesupercharger justwouldn't spool (just ran rich when I stomped on the gas).
don't really remember if i have any supercharger pictures, but it might be in my photobucket somewhere..
come to think of it.. I think my last oil change before the track had metal shavings in it. Maybe my car was already destined to fail befoe it even went?

Aww man I am so sorry :( a lot of metal in oil is bad news.
I have heard of something similar happening on a friends matrix.
tuning solution ..... sorry i meant if you had a stand alone computer, piggy back ecu. but I believe the trd supercharger comes with a computer swap.
It may have been oil starvation in the past that originally hurt it or something totally different.
I know on the 2zz motors you don't really feel it not getting the oil it just happens when you a full throttle and going around a corner really fast. All the oil in the pan is pushed up to one side and the oil does not get where it needs. then kaboom. :( they now make pans with baffles and stuff to help prevent stuff like that.
But thats no worry now cuz got the FRS :) and it seems to love FI compared to the zz motors.
everybody in the norcal area is pretty nice and will tend to help with advise.
