Manufacturing Date
 

While detailing my FR-S today, I glanced over at the door jam and noticed my manufacturing date to be in the same month as when I was born. Leads me even more to think me and this car were meant to cross paths. (Or maybe it's just the ancient Japanese thinking in me.)

Here's the question, when is your manufacturing date? And does it mean anything special to you?

May 14, 2013, and it meant that it sat at two different ports for nearly two months before I took delivery on July 10th.

05/13 and I took delivery on the 26th of this month... At least it was born the same month as me... wish I knew the exact date though...

Ask your dealer to log into the Toyota NVS menu and run a Main Vehicle Inquiry report VDO7110. It will show the estimated build start date, actual build start, build finish (could span two days, mine did), Japan departure date and ship name.

the only thing special the manufacturing date means to me is if it's out of the problem free zone LOL.

may 2013 is my car's build date. still got the crickets unforunately...

Haven't RECEIVED my car yet, but scheduled production in August 2013. Dleivery scheduled in late August/Early September
