I bought a sports car and I cant have fun with it... fuck me right. :iono:

I'm driving this until November, then it's in storage for the winter, if nothing comes up on the OEM side of things(ECM update) i'll probably get a header/tune or keep it stock and trade it in on a new WRX when they come out... Time will tell.

Exact same here, don't drive it like a sports as changing di seals is a major pain, I think a header+tune will turn into a must do for these cars. Still better than a WRX to me, all cars have quirks we just need to find solutions instead of waiting on Toyota or turning a blind eye in denial.

Do you also live in Toyota City?

Changing my direct injectors due to a failure, I have a BRZ.

Does anyone know if there is any issue using Toyota injectors in my BRZ as I can get them loads cheaper.

My Injectors are "Mark 2"

Subaru part no. = 16611JB020

Toyota part no. = SU00304461

Any feedback would be great

Same injectors .. Different part number.. Just be sure the mark 2 is the same for all..

They will be all the same, and yes critical to make sure you order all the same number.

Has anyone ever thrown a P0301 code (cylinder 1 misfire) and had a bad DI seal?

What symptoms did everyone experience with a complete DI seal failure?

if you have constant misfires on one cyl. check your coil if thats bad I would pull the injector for inspection.

I currently have a bad misfire and popping from my exhaust.

I have done the following. Changed coil on #1, pulled plugs (looked fine comparing 1 & 3 plugs), swapped injectors on 1 & 3. No matter what I do same P0301 code. I'm lost. Cylinder 1 is passenger front correct?

You already swapped the direct injectors on 1 and 3? Did you do compression tests?

if you did I would only suggest replacing the opposing cylinder coil and DI. You have a stable flash or you on oem ecu tuning?

Did I miss a complete parts number list? Just had warranty work denied on my DI seals, so I have to do them myself. Anyone have an SST tool I can borrow? I'll pay shipping.
