Japan price released
|
Currently 1 JPY = 0.0120 USD so with direct conversion:
Premium 6MT: $29,736 Premium E-6AT: $30,555 Limited 6MT: $33,516 Limited E-6AT: $34,461 So either Subaru is going to lose their ass competitively pricing the car in the US market or we're in for a rude awakening :\ |

direct currency exchange rate doesn't work.
|
The premium BRZ will be 50% more than the FRS, and the limited another 50% higher than the premium
FRS =$1.00 premium BRZ =$1.50 Limited BRZ = $2.00 Silly bored out of my mind waitIng for pricing....it's like Subaru and Toyota are playing "don't be the first to blink" game.. Somebody blink damnit. |
if they tell me this car is $33.5k, then they can suck it! i am not spending that on this. rather just buy an STi at that point.

as others have stated, direct price conversion doesn't work when determining the local market price. |
Who said Subaru is in charge of the price tag?
Think, if BRZ is cheaper than Toyota in Japan, and in NA BRZ is going to be more expensive than Scion... Who sets the rules for this game? Hint, correct answer is not Subaru ;) |
