Wait i thought the NuR spec was a TRD (Toyota)part. AS you could not order that on any BRZ anywhere in the world but the GT86 in some places could be fitted with the full kit from the dealer.

When i said subaru, i meant it as they are the one who manufactured the wing just like alot of the FRS parts. The Nur Spec wing says subaru on each piece it comes with, but its only sold thru toyota.

That looks really good @mmmcambelsoup

Stormy skies always bring out the color and you captured it beautifully.

@gepeyo What are the color of your rays? Really wanting loving your wheels. Also, are those 18x9.5?

Silver Ignition people. 2 Questions about rust spot.

I finally got to wash and wax my car by hand for the first time this weekend and noticed this spot on the passenger side of the A-Pillar.

1) Are all Silver Ignition J8A touch up pens basically all the same > [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Ignition-Touch-Up-Paint-PaintScratch/dp/B00IYZ6V8S"]Amazon.com: 2013 Scion FR-S Silver Ignition J8A Touch Up Paint Pen Kit by PaintScratch - Original Factory OEM Automotive Paint - Color Match Guaranteed: Automotive[/ame]

I don't need professional car-show quality here, but I assume it will look bad compared to how it came out of the factory. Still, I just need something that will make it less noticeable. Hell, that could have happened months ago and I just now noticed. My end goal is to ditch the car before the warranty expires so anything will do.

2) Do I need to go through the process of scraping out the rust or should I just use some of this rust converter liquid I keep reading about prior to using a touch up pen? I am guessing yes but I am trying to fix this issue with zero effort.

Are you the first owner? If so the dealer should have provided you with a Scion touch up pen for Silver Ignition(J8A)

Nah, second owner. I bought it last July, I think it was. I was also missing the 'special glow in the dark shift knob' :barf:

Funny thing. Just last week they mailed me the spare key that I forget to ask about when I got the car.

Is your car automatic? The reason i ask is because only automatic cars came with illuminated shift knob.

Ohhh, I thought there were two versions. I went looking around the car after I bought it. I knew nothing about the Series 10 and only later did a little digging. Thought I saw a manual version of the blue shift knob. :bonk: Nevermind...

How many autos did they make of the Series 10?

Yea Scion pulled some funny move last minute lol. All 10 Series were supposed to get the illuminated shift knob. Then Scion axed it for the manual cars and left it for the automatic cars. 750 were manual and 1750 are automatic.
