RPF1 most flush?

This might be a noob question and I looked at the sticky, but none of the threads gave me a definitive answer. Which size combo on a RPF1 works best with a stock ride height of a BRZ? I looked around and mostly I've seen people with 17X8 +45 and 17X8 +35. Which is the best setup if I'm planning on keeping stock coils/springs for a while? Oh, and I can get 50% off Continental tires so what size and type should I get on those? Thanks and hope you guys understand that this is my first time purchasing rims for a car

I'm running 17x8 +45 with 225/45/17 tires all around on stock suspension/alignment, front is almost totally flush, a 3-5mm spacer (for +42 or +40) would be dead on. 17x8 +35 will poke a bit, but if you add any camber it'll be more flush. Rears would be better with +35, mine are in at least 8mm from the fenders still.

With an 8" wheel you won't have rubbing issues, if you go with 17x9 +45 you'll most likely run the stock strut spring seat (coilovers or spacers are the only fix for this) and +35 will poke quite a bit without adding camber.

+35 is the choice to make!

Want to revive this discussion real quick - I've been thinking on getting 17x9 +35 all around with completely stock suspension - will I run into any issues? Will the poke on the front be completely undesirable?

If anyone has pictures, would be greatly appreciated!
