I have been wanting to do this for a long time. I finally did it.

About half way through I was regretting my decision but in the end I think it turned out pretty good.

Here are the steps I took.

Updated grille. Same grille, but had to cut slots for the support rod mountings. Ironically, someone assumed it was attached to the grille itself.

Glue did you use to keep the grill piece on? On what exact piece did you order or get? I tried something similar w so many types of glues and it’s falling apart now
