TE37SL or TE37 Tokyo Time Attack?

Hey guys..

I ordered a set of TE37SL 18x9.5 +40 in Pressed Graphite all around..

Been looking around and the TE37 Tokyo Time Attack 18x9 +45 is really growing on me.. just wanted to get some member's opinion. Both weight in around 17.X lbs per wheel.

I will be running 245/35/18 Continental Extreme Contact DWs on either wheels.

This will be going on my Raven FRS with full TRD body kit and coilovers.

TE37SL Pressed Graphite:

Pros:

More Concaved Face
0.5" Wider

Cons:

Less Unique
cannot fit center caps

Pros:

more unique
can fit center cap

Cons:

0.5" narrower
face is less concave

Additional consideration:
Is black on black overkill? (does the black spokes not show the face as well?)

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance,

Brian

Should've made this into a poll.

I vote Super Laps. Most people wouldn't be able to tell the subtle differences and I like the Pressed Graphite over black. Plus the extra concavity. I've grown accustomed to no center caps (TRD Griffon 86 also has the SL and doesn't run caps). You can apply anti-rust chemical and coat your spindle with it. It'll form a flat black layer. Further, you can spray it with a long lasting moisture deflecting/rust proofing lube (I use Castle Endura which settles into a gel).

Thanks lanez, poll added. And yes, I originally ordered the SL in pressed graphite because thats what TRD griffon runs :)

Hmmm... although polished lips on these cars are starting to grow on me. For comparison on black kitted 86es:

I never liked polished lips before but these cars seem to pull it off:

Pressed graphite SL IMO look lot better. 255/35/18 all round bait more meat to.

lanez: the first pic you posted is the Tokyo Time attack :)

the second pic is the pressed graphite (no chrome lip) it really is an amazing color, on certain lights and angles it looks like the lip is a different color!

OICU: definitely not gonna run some silly 225 tires on a 9.5" wheel :) i think 245/35/18 has the closest overall diameter compared to the stock size. Thanks for your input!

Gonna say SL's. But I'm a bit biased ;)
