Spacer questions ...
 

Hey guys,

I went to an FR-S car meet for the first time yesterday and learned a ton of great stuff about my car! Spacers were one of the things I found out about, I had no idea they even existed before the meet, lol.

So it would be cool to have my wheels flush with my car, I just don't know what to look up other than ... "spacers." And that's where I need your guys wisdom!

Also, I'm sure there's a post or two about this topic, but I'd much rather post and chat with you guys as opposed to just reading threads. Thanks guys, have a great day. :happy0180:

spacers are fine as long as they are reputable. you can try h&R spacers in the various thickness. Once past a certain thickness, they will have the necessary hardware inclusive.

Do you know what thickness will make my wheels flush with the car? What some other companies that offer spacers?

thickness depends on what wheels and offsets you have... there are others that offer them but as the spacers from H&R are tuv, those are the safest we can thnk of. Or you can look for them on the net.

I will probably go around a 20mm front and 30mm rear when I get some lowering springs to help with flushness.

I ordered this spacer kit from B2Autodesigns. Should be here on Friday, I plan on installing them very shortly afterwards. So far the transaction has been good.

It's 4 adapters/spacers (2 pair) with lugs bolted on (no need to change the lugs at the hub).

20mm in the front
25mm in the rear

are the wheels stock? if so, then yes. However, if its aftermarket wheels, it will really depend on the offset of the wheel. spacer thickness will vary depending on the wheel you have.
