Toyota NUR-Spec Aero Kit Questions
 

I'm new to the forums, and had a few questions about the Toyota NUR-Spec Aero Kit. First, I believe that (correct me if I'm wrong) it adds a license plate mount above the grill. Is there any way to remove this? I already have a plate mount in the tow hook area and it would look strange with two mounts. Second, is that spoiler functional, or just for looks. It's rather large, and as much as I like the look, whether or not it's functional is sort of a deal breaker. Thanks for your help.

The front lip kit is all one piece, including the license plate... I put it on mine (the trd lip). I'm sure u can cut it but it may look ugly.

The big rear wing isn't included in the kit, you have to buy separately, and from what I've read it is functional.

Do a search for @carsontoyota and their posts, they have more details

I was thinking about cutting it off and filing it down, but I agree it will probably end up looking pretty messy. Thanks for the info.

Where are u getting the kit?

I think you are talking about the TRD kit. This is the factory NUR kit & doesn't include full grill / license surround -

Nur Spec kit is what is in this picture, TRD kit includes plate mount, Nur spec does not
