That's exactly what I was thinking. Did he have egt probes in each exhaust runner? What fuel pump are you running?

According to some tuners that 300 whp on 93 octane can be achieved just fine with the OEM injectors if you want to swap back to them.

definitely can... i've done far more than that on the stock system (on 93).

I'm sure just a guess based on what he was seeing and experience, I don't think it was given as "this is exactly what the problem is." Doug has tuned hundreds of cars, he's probably seen pretty much everything you can think of with regards to issues.

Ok so I am definitely considering this kit for mine.
FA20club just seems awesome to deal with and the performance numbers are great for the money. I'll be happy with 250-300 to the wheels but I'm curious about the ceiling.
The only issue is mine is auto. What do you guys think I could get out of it?
Like the 57 trim with a couple options looks good for me, but if I could get 350+ whp with a bit more money in options and some other mods I'm all for it.
Thanks yall!

If you have gone through the forum vendor review section to find reviews and information on why they are banned as site vendor ok. If not, I invite you to search. Doesn't matter what you choose to do after that, only thing that matters is that you make an informed decision on where to spend your money.

Either way, IIRC, there was a local pushing 380 whp on a 57 trim auto trans with E85. Cooling the trans becomes a mayor priority once adding power to the car.

Drew,

Not telling you to not purchase the FA20club turbo, but I would recommend reading this thread and learning a little about Toni & TR3.

@FullBlown all the way. Yes I'm a fanboy but this is a quality kit and quality people are building it.

You're not the only one to suggest that kit. I'm definitely going to look into that one. Thanks bro!

How's the workmanship on these kits?

I'm considering the FA20Club Stage 1.5 that is for sale on the members classifieds, and having FBM tune it.

Am I better off just buying an FBM Stage 1P or 2?

If your referring to my kit then it is no longer for sale.

Nothing wrong with these kits. If your looking into a new kit I would recommend the MAPerformance kit. Message me if you want a great price on it or the full blown kit.

Use the search button friend and stay as far away from this kit as is humanly possible. Shoddy work, missing parts, ignored phone calls, just sleazy in general.

The kit them selves are fine once they have been fitted on a car, its dealing with delivery and initial fitment.

otherwise i'd say get it cheap used if you can..
