Poor stamping - Rear fenders near wheel wells

Guys,

I don't have a photo and also don't know how it would be caught on a camera, but has anyone looked at the stamping on the rear fender where it lines up with the quarter panel?

If so, have you noticed SUPER small, wavyness to it? (not orange peel waviness)

It's almost like a the sheet metal warped when it was stamped into shape.

This is NOT obvious and requires quite a bit of "looking" at the right angle to see.

just wondering.

I have a similar wave on my drivers door. Had the same wave on a couple of my other cars and, just like you mentioned, it really does have to be in the right light to see. Mine isn't in the same spot as yours, though.
