Mishimoto Oil Cooler - Anyone running one?

You can get them at a significant discount relative to the Perrin kit. Just curious if anyone is running one and if there are any drawbacks?

We're putting one on our silver race car. :)

We've looked it over and the kit will do just fine for the lapping and events we do with the car. Really like the kit overall.

What's the lowest you're seeing them for? So far it seems to be about $100 cheaper than Perrin, not sure if i'm missing some sales elsewhere though.

I've run their radiators on my other builds and always liked their quality and reliability.

A vendor (on here) is selling them, call it $200 cheaper when you add the promo code

What I am still waiting for is a set of Mishimoto ZX tires. :(

It doesn't mention being thermostated, can anyone confirm that it is or isn't? It may explain some of the price difference.

Swift, I know I'm bringing back an old thread but if you're still looking, FA20Club has them for $489. I ordered one in black and it should be in this week. I have no need for a thermostat living in South Florida and I know Perrin has been fixing a leaky batch so this is the best deal going so far.

If you already installed an oil cooler sorry for the late input. Was searching the forums to see if others have installed already looking for some feedback and came across this thread.

I have a Mishimoto silver oil cooler kit in stock. Low price too. Message me if you are looking for one.

Thanks
Charles

Yeah, I ordered a Perrin one in black. I haven't been happy with FA20club's quality (my front pipe must have been welded by the local school for the gifted). In addition, it takes more than 5 weeks to receive an order. If they were local to me, I would have considered.

Lol well no "gifted" kids will be welding the oil cooler :)

Are the Perrin coolers off backorder now?
