Interesting strategy. Starting to build cars on a Friday! This is one time I'd be happy to have a car built on a Friday. :P

Good news to hear

Great news!
Interesting photo with the two company Presidents shaking hands with a BRZ and T-86 in the background. That's the most pronounced difference in the two front ends I've noticed in photos. I have to say, I definitely prefer the 86/FRS front end even more now. |
Sadly, not a USDM BRZ in sight...but at least production started.
|
The pic of the BRZ's on the production line is awesome. :coolpics:
|
Let's see now... let's assume that they start the assembly line at the rate of 100 cars/day. After a week or so for the Japanese initial run, they can start filling car carrier ships that leave port say, 3 weeks later. The cars appear in dealerships 3-4 weeks after that. That rough estimate puts cars arriving at US Subaru and Scion dealerships in early to mid-May, depending upon your closest coast.
Would those with more insight agree? |
These damn things are going to be on lots before we have a damn price.
|
do those workers know that their not going to get much work hours with the retarded amount that Subaru and Toyota are deciding to build....fail
