BRZ at Columbus Auto Show
 

The BRZ will be at the Columbus Auto Show this weekend. I'll be headed there tomorrow evening to check it out. Hopefully it'll be on the floor like the Cleveland show, rather than up on a pedestal like it was in Detroit.

I'll be there Sat afternoon as well. I need to get the Auto Show Coupon.. the 60 day window might just work for me. The $250 off would be nice.

If it is on the floor be sure to take pics and post them here and get some interior shots as well. I'm still curious if the steering wheel will have controls on it or not.

I saw it yesterday at the show. I took some photos on my iPhone but they turned out very crappy and not worth posting. My impressions...good looking car in person. The gray color is very nice. The backseat is completely worthless. Can't really judge the interior but I thought it looked nice. I saw one person who asked to sit in the car and they allowed him. Might be worth asking. They might have let him though b/c it was nearly empty when I was there (right when it opened at noon).

The auto show coupon is not valid on the BRZ according to my regional rep from SOA.

Can't wait to see it at ground level. And my local dealership talked with the guys at the display and I might be able to get into it since I have a deposit down. So here's hoping.

Well, getting a seat in the car was a no-go. The Subaru rep said that in a couple weeks, dealership GMs will be able to request a BRZ to show up so they can offer test drives. WE'll see if that pans out or not.

So.. Seeing it on the floor and not an pedestal is a huge improvement. It's small. It made the STI next to it look HUGE. It also made the car more "real". I can't wait to get in and drive one.

Another observation: DGM looks absolutely great under artificial light. I hope it looks just as good in sunlight. I'm getting black, but seeing the DGM almost gave me a second thought.

I believe DGM is going to be the bomb on this car...black was my 2nd choice.

i was able to sit in the BRZ at the cleveland auto show. I didnt even ask the rep. Talked to her for a few and said im buying one for sure now that i saw it in person. she unhooked the rope and told me to take a closer look. i was so excited i dont really remember much about it other then it was awesome.
