Subwoofer/Amp install problem

I was installing my 2 Rockford Fosgate 10" subs and my 3000W amp tonight and once i got all the wiring done (and yes it was done right) the amp powers up but no sound from the subs.

I tweaked all the dials on the amp, played with the configuration of the RCA cables.

I am wondering if the RCA jacks on the back of the factory head unit are possibly RCA ins/outs? whichever are the wrong ones haha.

And to make sure i am correct which wire needed to be tapped into to for the remote wire?

I do have the non-touch screen head unit so there is just one sec of RCA jacks on the back of it.

Thanks for all help in advance.

yea it's definitely somewhere in the forums but basically these are the steps:

1. turn off stereo
2. push multifunction knob
3. go to sub-w setting
4. switch to on
5. turn on stereo

what "3000watt" amp do you have on your subs? the reason i ask is that the stock electrical cannot sustain 3kwrms.
