Well guys if you haven't been keeping up with Initial D after 15 years it's finally over! I am seriously :brokenheart: that it's over! What are your thoughts on this?

Worst. Ending. Ever.

What about the anime? Will they at least be releasing more episodes?

from what they previously said about 5th stage, the anime is over for good.
Maybe a movie? who knows.... might be another 20 years before anything new comes out lol.

but the only thing the anime has left to continue are a few manga chapters of the last race. probably not enough for any new stage or movie....

Damn... I was hoping to see takumi loss (and blow his engine trying to catch up) then it would be the perfect time to upgrade to something (his father gc8 or the new age 86)


Damn I hate most anime/maga's in the last 10~15. They just either have no endings (like ranma 1/2, it just like use your imagination and put your own ending!!!!!) or just stupid so long "no ending too" anime/manga like one piece or detective conan..... damn

Well, at least it didn't have an "everyone dies" ending.

I stopped watching Initial D during that episode when the Red Miata tried to hop the gutter, failed, flipped onto it's hardtop without crushing it, and landing safely right side up. That was virtually impossible but would've been more realistic if he at least had a roll bar... Interesting to see a track beast get owned by a hachiroku none the less haha
