Did you give any thought to parting it out? What about buying it back and gutting it, go commando with it. Strip it out, cage etc?

Saw the other thread, glad all involved walked away. RIP to an amazing car.

Any initial thoughts on your next car? I know you came from an S2K and switched over to BRZ to get away from open top and wanted a back seat. No other real choices in RWD config with Japanese cars...unless you consider a Hyundai Genesis? Or for the same price range go used German route? The 2015 Mustang is around the corner with supposed less weight and independent rear suspension....?

i know myself and a few others bought our BRZ's from Johnson Subaru in Cary, just curious how well they've been selling at Performance?

All I know is Southern States Subaru had a $3,000 market adjustment on their BRZ's  I've bought two Subaru's from them and went to Johnson this time because of that.

All you have to do is tell them to fuck off and most places will drop that without question.

Went there and put down deposit for order at sticker price...given the 6-month wait speech. About 2 weeks later I found a dealer in MA that had the car I wanted and was able to negotiate well below sticker. After plane ticket/hotel and even gas back, I still came out ahead...got my car earlier and had a good road trip home to get used to it and break it in.

Looks like most dealers here have 2-3 in stock now with no sweat. I too am wondering if we will see our ranks increase on the roads.

Assuming you're near Raleigh, National Dent Works on Capital Blvd does great work.

Actually, in Goldsboro. But I will check it out. Thanks!

Saw a red FRS on I-40 westbound this morning near Durham while in my WRB BRZ on my way to Tennessee for thanksgiving with the future in-laws. Pulled up next to it and waved, got a nice wave back :D

Tried that once with a BRZ owner. He could have cared less. :(

I was wondering if anyone knew of anything in the future that we could all plan as a big NC (SC?) meet? We could vote on the event or the meet location and see what happens?

I'll be out of town all of December, can we plan it for feb/march?

wrxgoose 12-01-2013 01:28 PM

I'm actually organizing a meet for us on Souheast 86 facebook page. Not many people have voted, but it's probably going to be in Wilmington some time in January. I found a shop down there with a dyno and am going to be contacting them this coming week.

Also, we have Cars and Coffee on saturday
