According to dealer LED's and tint void warranty (DIABLO SUBARU)

So dropped my car off for service yesterday morning, typical 1st gear grinding issue, rear deck rattle, and homelink mirror falling off thought all would go smooth but no...They wrote in the RO "Clients car is heavily modified and driven hard as stated on FT86club.com and other subaru forums" So to diablo subaru it's okay to search forums for clients cars to deny warranty work and to them my car that ONLY has LED's, clear corners, tint and springs is heavily modified. They also decided since I asked on the forums what springs people use that makes my car hard driven. When I asked him where he got this info from he handed me screen shots of my posts on here that show me asking questions about camber...So...F*ck diablo subaru and the employee's there and watch out what you post because the subaru dealer network is full of scum. And since I know diablo subaru is looking at my posts I'd just like to say Hello and I'm not done here.

Not saying what the dealer did was right. . it's not. . but how would they know your username on the forums?

Heavily modified? LOL! Sounds like a bunch of ass-holes to me! Hope all goes well with your car man!

It's my first name and BRZ after it. I guess they searched really hard i'm not too sure. I felt pretty violated when he handed the screen shots to me. :mad0260:

I'm trying to lemon it the thing keeps breaking and now the dealer tells me it's working fine when it's not so I get stuck with a car that doesn't work as it's supposed to.

You could pursue a lawsuit in as along as you abide by the warranty, you can use this

Good luck.

O and they are Scumbags for doing this to you.

Posting this thread isn't likely to do much against the dealer:

1. Hammer them on Yelp

2. Contact Subaru corporate and explain the situation to them

3. If you get a customer satisfaction form, hammer this dealer on that too

4. Post in the Subaru dealer blacklist thread on here

5. Shit on their front door step (optional) :D

You must have been the slammed GBS i saw on North Main a few days back... After reading up on Diablo's rep, I quickly found Livermore to be the best option for East Bay dealer service..

Yep that was me.

Wow. They're trying to play their customers. Get off ft86club, lawyer up, and hit the gym.

suaveflooder 07-20-2013 04:07 AM

Lol, what a joke.
@Lonewolf hit it on the head, including the shitting on their door step. Best rout IMHO.

PS--sometimes I am REALLY happy I didn't get a BRZ. I think they look KILLER, but Subaru seems to be a joke when it comes to a warranty....or honoring it. I was told by my dealer that if I mod the car, it will only void, THAT PART. I lowered the car, no more shock replacement, etc. They have encouraged me to beat on it and enjoy it and bring it in if there are any issues that came up.
