Kancamagus Cruise Interest?
 

I know this is almost a foregone conclusion but I'll be heading back up to Portland, ME in August or early September some time. I was thinking I'd do just what I did last time and head up for work on Friday, stay overnight and then cruise on over to the eastern end of the Kanc on Saturday morning.

I'd like to see if I can organize an ft86club cruise (open to other groups as well if there is interest).

So, anyone into this please post up with the Saturdays in August and September that would work best for you....actually let's make this a poll.

Let me tell any of you that are on the fence that this is ABSOLUTELY worthwhile. That road and the views are amazing.... Here's some pics from my last visit solo!


We won't be driving crazy fast as there are a lot of cyclists, hikers, and people around some areas but the speed limit through much of the highway is 45-50 so we can have some fun.

I figured we travel the road in both directions and then grab some food.

More details to follow once dates become more clear.

I think September would be a nice drive. Hopefully it'll be more autumn and the temps will be slightly cooler by then, imo.

Just make sure it happens before all the leaf-peepers show up!

Any chance of this happening on 8/10? If not, I may organize another drive that day.
